The Viročyt 2100 is a compact, easy-to-use instrument that delivers rapid, quantitative virus particle concentration data in less than 10 minutes. Designed specifically for virus quantification, the Virus Counter is a personal flow cytometer that provides results comparable to transmission electron microscopy (TEM), but at a fraction of the cost and time.
The Virus Counter assay utilizes universal nucleic acid and protein stains, eliminating the need for expensive antibodies. The reagent cost per assay is comparable to that of plaque titer assays, making the Virus Counter more cost-effective than qPCR and TEM, and more time-effective than plaque assays or immunoassays.
